Notice of adopted election resolution and appointment announcement

The Pine Creek Conservation District is pleased to announce an opportunity to contribute to conservation and your community by serving on the Board of Supervisors. Supervisors are public officials who set policy and direct the District. Although they serve without compensation, they are eligible to be reimbursed for appropriate expenses. Elected Position Notice:

An election for a seat on the Pine Creek Conservation District’s Board of Supervisors will occur on March 8, 2022.  Candidates must be registered voters who reside within the boundaries of the District.  Candidates must file their candidate required information at the District office, 401 S. State Route 27, Oakesdale, WA 99158 or by email to casey.lowder@pinecreekcd.org. The candidate filing deadline is February 8, 2022 at 5 pm. 

Voting Notice:

A poll site election for a Board of Supervisors seat will be held on March 8, 2022 from 9 AM to 5 PM at the Pine Creek Conservation District office at 401 S. State Route 27, Oakesdale, WA 99158.  Eligible voters are registered voters who reside within the boundaries of the District. Absentee ballots can be requested by phone at 509-285-5122 or by email to casey.lowder@pinecreekcd.org. Absentee ballots returned by mail must be postmarked no later than March 8, 2022 and mailed to Pine Creek Conservation District, PO Box 328, Oakesdale, WA 99158.

Appointment announcement:

A seat on the Pine Creek Conservation District Board of Supervisors is available for appointment by the Washington State Conservation Commission. Applicants must be registered to vote in Washington State but do not have to live within the District to apply. For more information, please contact the District at 509-285-5122 or casey.lowder@pinecreekcd.org, or refer to the Commission’s website at scc.wa.gov/elections-and-appointments. To apply, complete the online form at formstack.com/forms/?1918463-JfwJs6JKCL. Applications and supporting materials must be received by the Commission no later than March 31, 2023.
