Wildfire and Forest Health Program

Community Wildfire Resiliency

Through a grant from the Washington State Conservation Commission and in partnership with our neighbors at Rock Lake Conservation District (find your district on the map here), we are offering free home ignition zone consultations including technical assistance with fuel reduction and defensible space planning. We plan to collect and batch fuels reduction projects that will be offered as cost share projects. We are still developing this program and welcome any suggestions.

Forest Health

If you manage working land with trees, we have contracted with a forest health professional to provide free consultation and forest health planning. Cost share for forest health practices to reduce wildfire threat is available including practices like thinning, mulching, replanting, and more.
