At Pine Creek Conservation District, we are committed to bringing place-based, natural resource education to our local communities.
Are you a community member or organization interested in responsible natural resource management? Check out our resources below and fill out the interest form.

Workshops
Our workshops are available on demand. We are more likely to host a workshop in collaboration with another local organization or if multiple community members express interest for similar topics.
Educational workshop topics could include (but are not limited to)
- Water conservation and rainwater harvesting
- Native Palouse Prairie restoration
- Protecting your home from wildfires
- Local agricultural history
- How to support native wildlife

Local Events
We frequently attend community events to raise awareness of local natural resource conservation, provide educational activities to the public, and promote new programs.
Have a community event coming up? Reach out- we’d love to attend!

Wildfire Resiliency
Home Wildfire Risk Assessment
Concerned about how vulnerable your home is to wildfire? Our district staff can help you reduce your risk by assessing your home and providing science-backed recommendations.

Here’s how it works
- Contact Josilyn (josilyn.watson@pinecreekcd.org) to schedule your appointment
- District staff will come to your property and complete a 1-2 hours site assessment
- You’ll receive a comprehensive document identifying your highest risks and mitigation recommendations
Thank you for your interest. We will be in touch soon.
